Orkin Pest Control’s Jonesboro, Arkansas branch teamed up with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society (NEAHS) to launch an event called ‘Paws for Pets’ to raise funds for outfits working to protect pets against mosquito-borne diseases. The event was a food and supply drive held recently at the society’s premises, and was deemed a success by Stephanie Jones, administrative assistant at NEAHS. The fundraiser focused on raising awareness of the need to protect companion animals from diseases such as viral, parasitic and bacterial infections, and heartworm.
In conclusion, Orkin Pest Control, through its Jonesboro, Arkansas branch, joined NEAHS to hold a Paws for Pets drive aimed at raising money for protecting pets from mosquito-borne diseases.
